The lid is the product
Every tumbler on this page is a double-walled stainless cup, and the steel will outlive you. The straw lid will not. It is the part with a gasket, a hinge, a spout and a tube — four things that can fail — and it is the part almost every “lifetime” warranty in this category explicitly excludes. Stanley's term covers “drinkware and food containers (not including lids, seals and straws).” So this ranking sorts on the lid: does it seal, can you take it apart to clean it, and can you buy another one?
That is a different question from the one our 40 oz roundup answers (which 40 oz to buy) or our 30 oz roundup (which size fits your holder). Here the size is secondary and the straw is the point.

What leakproof means here
If the tumbler rides in a backpack or a tote, the list shortens to the ProTour, the IceFlow and the Trek. If it lives in a cup holder and on a desk, any of the six is fine and the cheaper ones become the smarter buys. Straws, clogs and cleaning
A straw lid holds liquid in three places you cannot see: inside the tube, under the gasket, and in the hinge. Milk drinks and protein shakes turn all three sour within a day. Every maker here except Stanley's Quencher line asks you to disassemble the lid before washing it, and Simple Modern specifically asks that the lid be washed in the open position. Straws are cheap and replaceable — RTIC includes two — and a straw brush costs a few dollars and doubles the life of the lid. One further note for fizzy drinks: a straw is the worst possible interface for carbonation, because CO2 comes out of solution on the way up the tube and foams. Buyer's guide: the straw tumbler
Buy for the bag, or buy for the desk
Bag means a flip-straw lid with a flap. Desk and cup holder means you can take a splash lid and save $15.
Check whether the spout comes apart
A removable spout and a replaceable seal (the ProTour) means the lid can be cleaned properly and repaired. A molded lid means the whole lid is the consumable.
Measure your cup holder before you buy 40 oz
The Quencher's 3.1-inch base fits most holders; a 40 oz body with a handle often does not fit alongside a phone. The 30 oz size is the safer bet in a truck.
Assume the lid is not covered
Stanley excludes lids, seals and straws; Simple Modern is the exception and covers broken lids. Read the term before you rely on it: every tumbler term, quoted.
Keep a spare straw
They split, they stain and they go missing in dishwashers. Two dollars now saves a $35 tumbler becoming a plant pot.

Every figure links to where it came from.

What is the best tumbler with a straw?
The Stanley Quencher ProTour Flip Straw 40 oz: Stanley calls the flip-straw lid leakproof, the spout is removable and the seal is replaceable, and the stainless body carries Stanley's lifetime term (lids, seals and straws excluded).
Are straw tumblers leakproof?
Only the ones with a flap over the straw. Stanley's ProTour and Simple Modern's Trek lids are described as leakproof by their makers, and Treeline Review held an IceFlow upside down without a leak. The Quencher, Owala and RTIC lids are splash- or leak-resistant, which is not the same thing.
Can you put a straw lid in the dishwasher?
Usually top rack only, and always disassembled. Simple Modern asks that the lid be washed in the open position; RTIC specifies top rack for the lid and straw.
Can you drink carbonated drinks through an insulated tumbler straw?
It will foam, and most makers advise against carbonation entirely. Owala states that its 40 oz and 24 oz Tumblers hold carbonated drinks; its bottles and kids' bottles must not. The carbonation page collects every maker statement.
Where can I buy a replacement straw or lid?
Stanley sells lids, straws and toppers in its Lids collection, Simple Modern sells replacement flip lids and straws, and RTIC ships two straws in the box but lists no replacement lid. Tumbler lid replacement tracks what each brand stocks.
