Gifts for Yeti lovers: ten Yeti products in three budgets, and the one to give at each
Someone on your list already owns a Yeti and talks about it. The trick is not picking a Yeti; it is picking the one they do not have, at a price that does not feel like a car payment. Ten from the registry, priced from Yeti's authorized dealers, sorted by what you want to spend.

How to use this list
Three questions decide the gift. What do they already own? (A Tundra owner needs the soft cooler or the tumbler; a Rambler owner needs the bottle or the mug.) How much do you want to spend? (Yeti's catalog has a hole between $40 and $225, so the tiers are lopsided on purpose.) And do they care about the color? (They do. Yeti owners buy the colors; a limited color is half the gift.) Every price below was read on 2026-09-21 from L.L.Bean, an authorized Yeti dealer, or from OutdoorGearLab's and Outdoor Life's tables, because yeti.com blocks our fetches; prices move and the Amazon button on each card shows the current one. Everything here carries Yeti's 5-year term (hard coolers, drinkware, Yeti Ice) or 3-year term (Hopper soft coolers), quoted in Yeti warranty explained, which is the other half of why a Yeti gift lands: it is a ten-year object.
Under $50: drinkware and the pack
The Rambler 30 oz Tumbler ($40) is the answer for anyone you are not sure about. It is the Yeti with the highest daily use, the MagSlider lid is a part if it ever cracks, and the 18/8 body is dishwasher safe. The Rambler 26 oz Chug Bottle ($40) is for the person who has two tumblers already: 10.25 inches tall, the Chug Cap, and shatter-resistant. The Rambler ceramic-lined mug ($35 at L.L.Bean) is the desk gift: it stacks, and the ceramic lining is Yeti's answer to the “my coffee tastes like steel” complaint. And the Thin Ice Large ($25): Outdoor Life measured it at -5°F out of the freezer and 28°F after four hours on a counter, the coldest start of every pack tested. It fits the Tundra they already own, which makes it the rare gift that improves the thing they love.
$200 to $275: the second cooler
The Hopper Flip 12 ($250; 3 lb; 24 cans without ice per L.L.Bean) is the soft cooler for a hard cooler owner: leakproof zipper, 1.6 days to 40°F in OutdoorGearLab's test, and Yeti's 3-year soft-cooler term. The Roadie 24 ($275; 13.23 lb) is the hard cooler for a Hopper owner: tall enough for a wine bottle upright, 4.3 days at 40°F in OutdoorGearLab's table, 5 years. The Daytrip 20 L backpack ($225; 3.2 lb) is for the one who walks to the spot; it is the lightest thing on this page that holds a day of drinks. Pick by what they own: the gift is the format they lack. Roadie vs Hopper is the long version.
No limit: the cooler they will keep for twenty years
The Tundra 45 ($325 at L.L.Bean) is the Yeti. 28 cans at a 2:1 ice ratio, 23 lb empty, 98 hours to 40°F sealed in OutdoorGearLab's 2021 lab test, T-latches and a gasket that are both sold as parts, and a 5-year term. If they already have a Tundra, the Hopper M20 ($325) is the soft cooler with the longest measured ice life OutdoorGearLab has recorded for the category (3.6 days at 40°F), and the Roadie 48 is OutdoorGearLab's top-scoring cooler outright (6.8 days at 40°F, 26.6 lb, wheels). The Roadie 48's price was not on a page we could read; the Amazon button will show it. Roadie vs Tundra settles wheels or no wheels.

Buyer's guide: giving a Yeti without a receipt
Find out what they own first
The gift is the format they lack. Tundra owner: Hopper or Rambler. Hopper owner: Roadie. Rambler owner: bottle or mug.
Buy the color, not the size
Yeti owners talk about colors. A seasonal color in the size they already use is a better gift than a size they do not.
Know the term
Hard coolers, drinkware and Yeti Ice: 5 years. Hopper soft coolers: 3 years. Yeti asks for proof of purchase on a claim, so keep the order confirmation and give it with the gift.
Dealer vs Amazon
The warranty document's first claim condition: “You must have purchased the product from a YETI authorized dealer.” On Amazon, check the seller line; a listing sold by YETI or an authorized seller qualifies, a marketplace reseller may not.
Skip the third-party accessories
Yeti's document excludes defects caused by third-party parts. A generic latch or lid kit is not the gift for a cooler inside its term.
How we scored this
Units we claim to have tested: 0
Plenty of sites say they filled every cooler on this list with ice and watched it for a week. We don't say that, and we say so on every page. What we do instead: read the maker's published capacity, insulation, dimensions and weight; quote the warranty term from the maker's own warranty page with the date we read it; check whether the latches, gaskets, plugs, lids and straws are sold as parts; and cite the third-party ice-retention tests (OutdoorGearLab, Outdoor Life, Treeline, Outside, Gear Patrol) as their measurements, never ours. Every figure links to where it came from.
Scores are editorial judgments from that documented research, not lab results. Commissions never set a score or decide a pick. The rubric and its weights are published.

Frequently asked
What is the best gift for a Yeti lover?
Under $50, the Rambler 30 oz Tumbler ($40 at L.L.Bean): daily use, dishwasher safe, 5-year term, and nobody has enough. Above that, the format they do not own: a Hopper Flip 12 for a hard-cooler owner, a Roadie 24 for a soft-cooler owner, a Tundra 45 if there is no limit.
What Yeti gifts are under $50?
From the registry: Rambler 30 oz Tumbler ($40), Rambler 26 oz Chug Bottle ($40), Rambler ceramic-lined mug ($35), Thin Ice Large pack ($25). Prices read from L.L.Bean and Outdoor Life on 2026-09-21.
Is there a Yeti gift between $50 and $150?
Not in our registry. Yeti's catalog jumps from $40 drinkware to the $225 Daytrip backpack. Buy two pieces of drinkware, or see best cooler gifts for measured coolers at $70 to $120.
Does the Yeti warranty transfer with a gift?
Yeti's document is written for the original purchaser and requires proof of the purchase date from an authorized dealer. Whether Yeti honors a claim from a gift recipient is Yeti's call; we could not verify it. Give the order confirmation with the gift so the recipient has the proof either way.
Did you test these?
No. Units we claim to have tested: 0. Ice figures are OutdoorGearLab's and Outdoor Life's; prices are dealer list prices on the day we read them.

We don't claim to have tested these coolers or tumblers and we don't pretend to. Units we claim to have tested: 0. Specs come from the maker's own product pages (linked on every product), warranty terms from the maker's warranty page with the date we read it, and ice-retention measurements are attributed to whoever made them. Amazon prices change often, so we don't print them. Where a figure isn't published, we say so. Read the full method.
