Brand by brand

Klean Kanteen. “Strong as Steel Lifetime Limited Warranty ... for as long as the original purchaser owns the product,” a gasket kit that fits the Twist, Chug, Café, Straw and Loop caps, and “iced up to 66 hours” on the TKWide. The condition: buy from Klean Kanteen or an authorized seller. Nothing else on the site checks every box.

Stanley. A lifetime term that explicitly covers “degradation of thermal performance” and explicitly excludes lids, seals and straws, which Stanley sells. Publishes hour figures on its straw tumblers, which are cold-only. The ProTour is the leakproof one. Stanley vs Yeti.

Owala. Limited lifetime on the bottle, one year on accessories, 24 hours cold, a lock, and Treeline's best overall. Water only, and the cup is hand-wash. Owala vs Stanley vs Yeti.

Simple Modern. The term names lids: “Broken lids and drinkware that has lost its insulating properties are covered but general wear and tear like dents and scratches are not.” Two lids in the box on the Classic, under $30 for a 40 oz Trek.

YETI. 5 years including the lid, the deepest lid catalog in the category, no published figure, and a MagSlider that is not leakproof. Rambler vs Quencher.
