Owala FreeSip: a push-button flip lid that opens to a straw and a wider opening at once; the carry loop folds over the button and locks it; Owala calls it leak-proof and Treeline's test agreed. Water only: “shouldn't be used with hot, carbonated, or perishable liquids.” Lid dishwasher-safe, cup hand-wash. Stanley FlowState: a rotating cover with straw, wide-mouth and closed positions; splash-resistant, not leakproof; a 3.1-inch base for cup holders; dishwasher safe; the straw tumblers are cold-only by instruction. Yeti MagSlider: a magnetic slider over a drinking slot; not leakproof per Yeti's retailers; hot or cold; dishwasher safe; swappable for a Straw Lid or HotShot cap. On retention, Owala publishes 24 hours cold; Stanley publishes 11 hours cold and 2 days iced on its straw tumblers; Yeti publishes nothing on the pages we could read.
